I was the poster child for "the good little church girl." I lost my virginity November of 2010. I struggled so much with forgiving myself and receiving forgiveness from God. I felt like I let other people down who looked up to me. It has taken time for God to heal those wounds and silence the lies I was hearing and believing. I know that God wants to do that for you as well. I encourage you to find someone to talk to about this who you can trust. Don't be afraid of God's discipline because He disciplines those who He delights in. I promise there is freedom from guilt and shame. I promise that He will restore joy and child-like-ness in your life. That is what He did for me, and that is what I am praying He will do for you. Much love :)
